Day 1 ARRIVAL DAY. BISHKEK
Meet the group at International Airport “Manas” of Bishkek. After border formalities drive to guest house.
Day 2 BISHKEK
After breakfast excursion to Ala-Archa Nature Park. The road runs along the banks of the narrow river Ala-Archa. Dense shrubs of the sea buckthorn, Hippophae rhamnoides along with Rosa beggeriana with white flowers to 4 cm (1.5”) diameters abundantly produced in dense, many-lowered clusters and R. platyacantha, with solitary yellow flowers to 5 cm (2”) diameters are found in lower reaches of the gorge along the river banks. A small, local sour cherry shrub, Cerasus tianschanica (=Prunus), that grows to 1.5 m (5 ft) is especially showy in spring and summer whether in flower or fruit. The forest meadows have a more diverse flora with spruce Picea schrenkiana one of the dominant forest species. Barberries Berberis sphaerocarpa and B. integerrima, the honeysuckle Lonicera hispida, as well as Rose family shrubs Cotoneaster pentagyna and Spiraea chamaedrifolia grow in sunny cities. The herbaceous cover of the spruce forests and meadows of the subalpine belt is dominated by the spring blooming orange globeflower, Trollius asiaticus, a white anemone Anemonastrum protractum, a light blue forget-me-not Myosotis suaveolens, gas plant Dictamnus angustifolius, as well as dramatically dark hued colombine Aquilegia atropurpurea. Flower watching walk. After excursion drive back to Bishkek. Lunch at local restaurant. Excursion in Bishkek. Visit History museum, Ala-Too Square, Panfilov Park, Manas Statue, City Hall (outside), Philharmonic Hall (Outside). Overnight in guest house.
Day 3 BISHKEK-BATKEN (FLIGHT)
After breakfast at guest house transfer to airport for flight to Batken dep. at 11.10am. Arrival in Batken at 12.10pm. After formalities transfer to guest house. Batken city is the center of the oblast and rayon of the same name. The town of Batken obtained its city status when it was designated the administrative center of the oblast in year 2000. The city is well known for its “Batken apricots” for their taste is well known both in the republic and beyond and Aigul flower. Lunch in local café. Then excursion in the city. Visit “Manas” complex, Toktogul Oluya historical-archeological monument. Dinner at local cafe. Overnight in guest house.
Day 4 BATKEN
After breakfast drive to Aigul Tash for flower watching. Aigul flower it’s a miracle Batken flower and it’s scientific name is “rybchik-eduardo”. After excursion to Aigul-Tash visit Tort-Kolskoe reservoir. Picnic in the gorge. Then flower watching walk in apricot orchards. In April, the local communities celebrated the beauty of blooming apricots at the Festival by singing songs, performing poems and dances. Dinner at local café. Overnight at guest house.
Day 5 BATKEN-OSH (260 KM)
After breakfast visit Batken bazaar, tourists can taste the best kind of apricots, nuts and “Ak-Turpak” sort of rise. Then drive to Osh. En route stop in Kyzyl Kiya for lunch at local café. Then continue drive to Osh. Dinner at local café. Overnight at guest house.
Day 6 OSH
After breakfast excursion in Osh. Visit Suleyman Mountain, Museum (3 stored Yurta-museum). In 2009 the nomination of Suleyman-Too was approved and it is now one of the sights officially incorporated into the World Heritage list and the only one so far for Kyrgyzstan. Lunch at local café. Then visit Art gallery “Saimaluu Tash”. Walk excursion in the city. Visit monuments of “Barsbek kagan”, “Manas”, Pamir tract “The eastern Arch after the name of Alybek Datka”. Dinner in local café. Overnight at guest house.
Day 7 OSH-SAFET-BULAN
After breakfast drive to Safet-Bulan for excursion to Shah-Fazil. The mausoleum belongs to the complex of cult structures of Karahanid epoch 11th century. The complex consists of the holy Mount Archa-Mazar with Alamberdar mausoleum (19th century) as well as the cave of the saint eremite, the place of excursion of 2,700 soldiers of Islam, 8th-19th-century mosque, vertically positioned stone, Shah-Fazil mausoleum (11th century). Shah-Fazil mausoleum is the most valuable. There are no similar monuments in central Asia. Its square structure looks like as massive truncated pyramid with original stepped drum and tall dome resting on it. The interior of the mausoleum from floor to ceiling is covered with fine ganch caving. The entire complex is a Muslim relic, the place of workship of many pilgrims. Picnic (the tourists will take part in preparation of plov or dymlyama on the fair). Dinner and overnight in guest house.
Day 8 SAFED-BULAN-OSH
After breakfast drive to Osh. Visiting Osh Bazaar. Lunch and dinner. Overnight at guest house.
Day 9 OSH-TASHKENT
After breakfast drive to Kyrgyz-Uzbek border “Dostuk”. After border formalities drive to Tashkent with Uzbek guide and transport. Lunch en route. Dinner at local restaurant in Tashkent. Overnight in hotel.
Day 10 TASHKENT-SAMARKAND
After breakfast transfer to station dep. to Samarkand by Sharq train. Arrive Samarkand. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch sightseeing Samarkand (Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Guri Amir, Shakhi Zhiinda etc. ). Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 SAMARKAND-NURATAU MOUNTAINS
After breakfast Samarkand city sightseeing (Ulugbek observatory, Afrasiab Museum, Paper factory). Lunch at local restaurant. Then drive to Nuratau Mountains (175 km, 2.5 hrs). Dinner and overnight at private house.
Day 12 FLOWER WATCHING IN NURATAU MOUNTAINS
After breakfast (7.00-7.30) departure from Sentyab village, hike along a god path to the mountain pass (1516 m, 3 hours hike). Spectacular view of Sentyab village, the river canyon, the peaks of Nuratau mountains and lake Aydar. 1 hour lunch break. Return to Sentyab village. Common for this area are Tulipa korolkovii, Tulipa affinis, Tulipa turkestannica. Lunch is boxed lunch. In the afternoon drive to Aidarkul lake (250 km, 2,5 hrs). Arrive Yurts. Dinner and overnight in Yurts.
Day 13 AIDARKUL LAKE-BUKHARA (295 KM)
In the morning walking around Aidarkul lake. Lunch boxes. Then drive to Bukhara. Dinner and overnight in guest house.
Day 14 BUKHARA
All day Bukhara city sightseeing (Ark Fortress, Bara Hauz, Chashima Ayub, Karaan Mosque, Mir Arab Madrassa, Ismail Samani, Sitorai Makhi Khosa, etc.). Lunch at local café. Dinner at local café. Overnight in hotel.
Day 15 BUKHARA-TASHKENT (TRAIN)
After breakfast transfer to train station for departure to Tashkent by Sharq train. Lunch is boxed. Arrive Tashkent at PM. Short sightseeing (Navoi theater, Old town, Chorsu Bazaar). Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to airport for departure flight to home country.
